  • We strongly advise you to NOT use Internet Explorer.
  • #1 Q: What is animecalendar.net?

  • AnimeCalendar.net is a TV guide which will tell you at what day, hour and tv station anime series is airing. Keeps you organised with titles that are currently airing, helps you remember which episode you saw and will remind you when next episode will air. In other words, you can now stop ask questions like "When will next ep of this/that will be available?" We only list titles that are currently on-going (first run, premiere). We do not list replays.
  • #2 Q: Why should I register?

  • If you register with the calendar, all your settings will be stored in our database permanently, so you won't lose your filters or other changed settings. On the other hand, if you won't register, all your settings will be lost after 7-14 days. The other good reasons: registration takes about 10 seconds, we don't send spam and we will be very happy if you register.
  • #3 Q: Why can't I log in?

  • After changing the system script, all old users need to create their username here before they can log in. If you cannot log in, you have your username and you are sure about your password contact with us using our contact form for further instructions.
  • #4 Q: What are filters for?

  • You can use filters to mark those anime titles that you are currently watching, doing so by choosing 'Mark titles' which will color the titles that you selected or 'Show only' which will display only the titles that you selected.

  • #6 Q: What is timezone for? / What's my timezone?

  • Well, the timezone is...... seriously? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Time_zone
  • #7 Q: Why I see 4 different icons next to titles?

    • You will see this icon next to almost every title on the calendar, means nothing, just an icon. (Clicking on it will change it to the green icon).
    • This icon informs you that this is the first episode of the series, tells you that new series will be airing. (Clicking on it will change it to the green icon).
    • This icon informs you that this is the final/last episode of this series. (Clicking on it will change it to the green icon).
    • This icon is a reminder that you watched this episode already, useful for people who watch lots of on-going anime.
  • #8 Q: What 'watched episodes' in my profile is all about?

  • It informs you about how much episodes you marked as 'watched' (How much titles have green icons). Simple statistics.
  • #9 Q: Why is calendar missing some of the titles?

  • It is not. One thing to remember about the calendar is that we list only TV series. We do not add premieres of movies, OAV/OVA's, ONA's etc. Well, there are special occasions sometimes when we will add something not TV related. So to be exact, we are not missing any of the titles, but still if you are convinced that we do - contact us.
  • #10 Q: Why calendar is showing (Insert anime title) on monday not sunday?

  • Calendar works in Japanese timezone (GMT+9). Remember that when we add episodes we add not only its date of air but also the time which it will air in Japan. Long story short, changing your timezone will change the air time of every episode on the calendar which in some cases will make episodes to change their air date to next or previous day.
  • #11 Q: I changed the timezone, why airtimes are still incorect ?

  • This one is actually hard to explain because timeline on Japanese TV listings/guides is a little different than the one you and i know. Simply to say, their day do not finish at hour 23:59. Just have some faith in us :) but still if you are convinced that we are wrong contact us.
  • #12 Q: Why (Insert anime title) airs only on monday? I know that it airs on friday too!

  • You are right, for example Bleach, it airs on a few different tv stations at different days and times but as we wrote earlier we list only premieres, first runs, so if Bleach ep 5 airs on 01, 03, 05 January, we will add only the premiere one which is 01 January.
  • #13 Q: Why the next month is almost empty ? Nothing airs ?

  • There are situations like that sometimes and there are reasons to that. Tv stations not always provide info about air times for next two months in advance and we don't want to predict the future giving you false informations. Almost always we are focused on the current month and we want to keep it up to date with 100% accuracy rather than thinking about next three months and give you half-accurate info.
